Puppies (see bottom page if we have any available)
We occasionally have puppies or if we don’t I can often recommend someone
We take having puppies very serious, we are not in it to make money (although a bit of extra cash doesn’t go a miss)
But we like to supply healthy bouncy puppies
From the moment one of my girl comes into season we start her on antibiotics so that her womb is completely free from any infection,
Once she has conceived she goes on extra protein food with vitamins in order to keep her immune system up and her body healthy,
We still walk her every day because this will also keep her fit for when the puppies arrive,
2 weeks before birth we put her on another course of mild anti-biotic to give the pups 100% chance of no infection and also raspberry leaf to aid the pregnancy,
When our puppies are born I am there with her all the way through labour until every pup has arrived and is suckling on mum, (then I grab a few hours sleep)
We worm the puppies from 2 weeks of age with Drontal puppy suspension and carry this on every 2 weeks till they leave us
At 2 weeks of age we start to let our children play with them and this goes on right through them growing up, this is so they are better socialised and like human company.
3 weeks of age we allow viewings to prospective owners
Puppies will never leave mum till 5 weeks of age then we start to wean them on to whelp milk for every other feed
At 6 weeks of age mum leaves them through the day and they start to feed on high protein puppy food, as well as brown bread for the bran and milk,
At 7 weeks of age they are completely clear of mum, feeding on High protein food and drinking either whelp or water,
At 8 weeks of age it is final puppy check with our vets and if all healthy first injection,
3 days after Injection they are ready to leave our Home to their new loving home (we wait for 3 days because sometimes they can get a bit of diarrhea after injections)
All my puppies come with Vet certificate, Food and pedigree and kennel club papers (pictures of mum and dad if requested)
And a contract of sale stating
You will look after the puppy and if the said puppy is no longer wanted you will contact me first and I may arrange for the puppies return or pass onto a another interested party
You can take the puppy to the vets within 5 days of purchase and if the puppy is not healthy as stated at time of sale then you can return the puppy to me for a full refund
you are free to use the puppy for breeding purposes if you so wish and I don’t put any restrictions on them
We Aim to supply a loving and healthy dog to a loving family for a reasonable amount
